| Beschreibung: The film follows the tale of Nikos, a feared barbarian from Northern Europe who was put to death by an angry mob. With his dying words, the maniac claimed that even death wouldnt stop him. Now, hundreds of years later, his threat has finally materialized. At the opening of an art exhibit in the depths of Manhattan, a botched robbery attempt has brought the monster back from the dead - and as the legend foretold, hes hungry for blood... Der Barbar Nikos war vor mehr als 1.000 Jahren in Rumänien berühmt und berüchtigt. Er soll mehr als 300 Menschen geschlachtet haben. Er wurde schließlich getötet. Nun befinden wir uns in New York. Frank Heller, seinerseits Kunstprofessor, besucht zusammen mit der Lehrerin Sandra Kane eine Kunstausstellung. Während dort eine Vernissage läuft, erwacht Nikos wieder zum Leben. Blutgierig dezimiert er die Zahl der Besucher der Kunstausstellung, bis nur noch Heller und Kane übrig bleiben, die ins nächtliche Manhattan flüchten. Nikos allerdings ist dicht hinter ihnen und er hat spezielle Unterstützung mitgebracht... |
